Radio Hunter is featured at the International Conference Radio 2024 and receives an Honorable Mention with the highest score!

The Radio Hunter project was awarded at an international event, one of the most important in the fields of radiology and scientific education! 🏅

We achieved the maximum score (10/10) in the official evaluation of the International Joint Conference – Radio 2024, held between October 14 and 18, 2024, at the Windsor Barra Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro.

The conference, promoted by the Brazilian Society of Radiological Protection (SBPR) in partnership with several renowned national and international institutions, brought together researchers, professionals, and educators from the fields of radiology, radioactivity, medical physics, and science education. The event is recognized as one of the most relevant forums for discussing innovation, safety, and the diffusion of radiological knowledge.

The way the Radio Hunter project mixes mystery, investigation, and science, transforming learning into a true adventure, enchanted the judging panel formed by prominent figures such as Josilto Oliveira de Aquino, president of SBPR, and Alfredo Lopes Ferreira Filho, president of Radio 2024.

Academic recognition and educational innovation

The Honorable Mention granted to Radio Hunter represents more than an award: it is the recognition of the importance of the pedagogical and scientific innovation that the game proposes. More than a game, Radio Hunter is also an academic product, developed as part of a professional master's thesis at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Institute of Medical Biochemistry (iBqM), in the Education, Management, and Diffusion in Biosciences program, with an emphasis on distance education.

This award, at an event that brings together experts from all over the world and evaluates high-level projects in the field of science and education, is an incredible recognition of the educational, scientific, and creative value of our project.
