Radio Hunter is a digital game, the core of a narrative educational ecosystem, that unites investigation, interactive challenges, and tangential learning to explore science in an innovative way. The story begins in a contemporary European city, where the player takes on the role of a detective involved in an intriguing investigation. Upon finding a mysterious diary, they discover a plan to steal valuable files linked to important scientific discoveries, kicking off a journey marked by mystery, investigation, and learning, in which new events and challenges continually expand the universe of the experience.
The game adopts the concept of tangential learning, allowing the player to intuitively absorb knowledge while engaging with the plot and overcoming challenges. Instead of just consuming information, they discover, contextualize, and apply it within the game's narrative.
More than a creative proposal, Radio Hunter also fits into an academic context of applied research: the project was developed and validated within a professional master's degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Institute of Medical Biochemistry (IBqM), within the Education, Management, and Diffusion in Biosciences program. Its production represents a practical application of the intersection between science, technology, education, and instructional design.
With an innovative and immersive approach, Radio Hunter transforms learning into an engaging experience, showing how science can be as fascinating as a good mystery waiting to be solved.
🗓️ The official release of the game is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
